2nd Capacity Building in Emerging Economies Workshop
Porto Alegre, Brazil October 18-19, 2007
The second CSLF Capacity Building in Emerging Economies Workshop was held in Porto Alegre, Brazil, 18-19 October 2007. There were approximately 130 participants from 10 countries, including a significant number of undergraduate and graduate students from Brazil’s top universities. The workshop provided an in-depth tutorial of topics and included opportunities for two-way discussions between lecturers and participants. The workshop was sponsored by Petrobras and was directed at the next generation of Brazilian engineers, geologists, scientists, and future policy makers.
